Bio
Ty Colgate is an Emmy award winning comedian and content creator from Atlanta, Georgia. Of course, like a true Atlantian, he's not originally from the land of lemon-pepper wings and all-day traffic. No, he's actually from a small city in South Florida where he did musical theater (to his father's dismay) and usually got kicked out of class (to his mother's dismay). Somehow, against all odds, he made his way into a career in the entertainment industry as a "whatever, as long as it pays" crew person.
After years of working in film and television, he decided it was time to take a chance and make stand-up comedy his main focus. Since that decision, he's toured through Europe and the USA, worked with Mike Falzone, Morgan Jay, Cam Bertrand, and Gianmarco Soresi, and has never had more drink tickets in his life.
